I’m about halfway through my first manuscript, and the more I read about publishing a book in canada, the more questions I run into, like whether I need my own ISBN and how royalties get paid out. Most of what I find online is written for the US, so I’m never sure it applies here. I called Book Publishing Canada last week just to ask a few of these, and the person I spoke with answered them in plain English and didn’t try to sell me anything on the first call.
